Mechanical seals within this group are used mainly in the chemical process, petrochemical and similar industries, where leakage control is highly important due to the working fluid characteristics, it can be toxic, corrosive or explosive, this type of mechanical seals usually work under very critical conditions, for that reason some of them are hydraulically balanced to support high pressures, besides they can be manufactured with the appropriate materials to resist extremely high or low temperatures.

"15"	heavy duty seal, low cost, single spring, o' ring gasket, designed specially for high viscosity fluids or solutions containing solids.
"15B"	line 15 hydraulically balanced seal.
"23"	external mounting seal, multi-spring, o' ring gasket, easy installation, for corrosive enviroments or chemical process.
"50"	multi-spring seal, o' ring gasket which can be made of different elastomeric materials to satisfy a wide range of applications.
"50B"	line 50 hydraulically balanced seal.
"55"	multi-spring seal, o' ring gasket, hydraulically balanced to be mounted right on the plain shaft, there is no need to use sleeve.
